Abstract

This article examines the effect of the Teacher Collective Bargaining Act on teacher salaries. Teacher salaries are examined both before and after the enactment of this statute to determine whether there is a significant difference in salaries resulting from the limited collective bargaining established by the Indiana law. The prime determinants of teacher salaries--the salary structure, teacher experience levels, and teacher educational levels--are examined in turn.
