Abstract

This Article examines the arguments for and against compulsory arbitration as a terminal step in public sector negotiations. Experience with binding arbitration is reviewed and analyzed, and some ways of adopting in to specific situations are proposed. The author concludes that experience has shown compulsory arbitration to be possible and appropriate in certain instances if properly structured.
