FACULTY GRIEVANCES: AN AID TO THE COLLEGE ADMINISTRATOR

Abstract

The role of grievance data analysis discussed here provides postsecondary administrators with an effective aid for managing: (1) institutional policy problems, (2) problem subunits within an institution, and (3) faculty grievance processing. Applications of this approach are presented by analyzing the faculty grievances of the Minnesota State University system and the Minnesota Community College system.
