Modeling Water Intake in a Canadian Household
AbstractThis article presents a model of water intake in a suburban Canadian household. The data cover daily water intake for a year. It is shown that a Box-Jenkins model with moving average terms best fits the data. Further, it is shown that a separate model for each of the three seasons provides an even better fit. The models are then explained with reference to water consumption habits and patterns.
