Violence Related to HIV-Positive Status

Arch Fam Med. 2000;9:751.

One in 5 women about 1 in 10 men who were HIV positive reported interpersonal violence, with about 1/2 of the episodes attributed to their HIV positivity. Physicians should inquire routinely of their HIV-positive patients about interpersonal violence. (Am J Public Health. 2000;90:208-215).
