Busy clinicians wishing a quick review on diseases commonly seen in general practice will find in this text 195 useful, easy-to-read, therapy-oriented monographs. With the average length of each monograph being just 6 pages, a general grasp of the topic covered can be readily acquired, along with an acceptable, upto-date method of treatment.

For example, I found the monograph about atrial fibrillation to be valuable in helping me manage a patient I had recently admitted to the hospital. This topic was covered in a down-to-earth manner and addressed all of the questions I had about initial and long-term rate control, cardioversion, and anticoagulation. It was my mistake to initially reach for one of the larger medical textbooks. While the large medical textbook made me jump from page to page in my search for answers, Conn's Current Therapy covered all the salient features of the treatment of atrial fibrillation . . .
