Abstract

This article examines representation rights at investigatory interviews in the public sector for non-union employees. Investigatory interviews involve meetings between employees and employers out of which disciplinary action could result. This representation right has been acknowledged for union and non-union private sector employees. A corresponding right is applicable for public sector employees because similar investigatory interviews involving possible discipline occur.
