Abstract

This study investigated comprehension of right-to-work law among residents of the twenty-one right-to-work states. Random sampling through the use of an eight-question questionnaire was conducted via the telephone to 2100 residents (100 per state). The results obtained indicated that the average resident of a right-to-work state is either uninformed or misinformed concerning his/her rights under the law. Additionally, significant differences were obtained between several of the states, and between the males and females within and between states.
