Abstract
This study reflects a historical investigation of faculty salary determination in the California Community Colleges before and after collective bargaining enabling legislation was enacted in 1975. It attempts to discover whether measurable differences in unionization lead to measurable differences in faculty remuneration over five- and seven-year periods.
