Abstract
In this article we discuss how strong forces and weak forces may interact to influence the arbitral decision-making process. A simplified model is offered to facilitate understanding of the interactions. This model of arbitral decision making only touches the surface of those forces and their interactions that influence the judgments of arbitrators. Clearly, many questions remain unresolved. This article is an initial attempt to clarify and understand the relationships involved. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
