Abstract

This study examines the practical impact of the accommodation of partially disabled nurses in a large, public, acute care hospital. Using interviews, the perspectives of various stakeholders are canvassed and three recurring themes identified: importance of communication and information; ambivalent attitudes toward accommodation; and conflict over scarce resources.
