Abstract
The Illinois General Assembly considered a collective bargaining bill written for all employees of all public schools, K - university, in its 1974-1975 session. The bill incorporated provisions that would have made it one of the more liberal bills of this type in the educational sector. Despite high hopes for the measure by its proponents the bill failed. Political factionalism led to the ultimate demise of the measure. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
