Abstract

The authors of this article examined salary data for small and medium-sized school districts in Wisconsin to determine whether and how collective negotiations had affected teachers' wages compared to other factors. They concluded that bargaining has had a significant negative effect on teacher salaries in these districts in Wisconsin.
