Abstract

New types of self-help support groups continue to develop to meet people s needs for understanding, support, and advocacy. The following information was compiled by the American Self-Help Clearinghouse, which provides in-formation on existing groups and also helps those individuals interested in starting new mutual help support groups and networks that do not yet exist.
