Abstract:

Examining evidence from psychology regarding human memory and the cognitive processes that enhance the likelihood that information is perceived, attended to, and comprehended provides a good foundation for development of visual presentations. Electronic presentations afford educators the flexibility and capabilities that can assist them in creating effective presentations. The flexibility of these newer technologies is addressed and their capabilities are examined through a series of useful tips and techniques for using these technologies to create presentations.
