Abstract
Carbon suboxide reacts with various bifunctional aliphatic compounds yielding derivatives of furan, pyran, axepin, diazepine, axazepine and dioxepin. A description of the synthesis is given. The structure of the reaction products was determined by elemental analysis and spectrascopic methods.
