Pikuta et al. 2006 erroneously states that CIP 107910 corresponds to the type strain of Anaerovirgula multivorans. However CIP reports that CIP 107910 corresponds to Tindallia californiensis. CIP does not report any strain for Anaerovirgula multivorans in its catalog.
