The Bacillus anthracis Ames Porton isolate (Porton Down, England) which is non-virulent due to the lack of the two virulence plasmids (reisolated from guinea pig (1988), and cured of the pXO1 and pXO2 plasmids at UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory). MLST genotype GT62, group A3b.
