Achromobacter conjunctivate, Manheim et. al, 1962, is a synonym for the acid-forming strain Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, Beijerinck et. al, 1968. Achromobacter conjunctivate did not make it onto the approved lists (1980) and was later revived as a different strain with the same name.
