The original type strain is the description in Brockman 1989. Due to this fact, Reichenbach designated the type strain Pl s12 (=DSM 14670=JCM 12637) as the type strain in Bergey's Manual of Systematic Bacteriology 2nd edition, vol. 2, and Lang and Reichenbach, 2013 formally proposed the deposits.
