The effective reference for Pedobacter piscium (Takeuchi and Yokota 1993) Steyn et al. 1998 incorrectly lists LMG 14023 as the type deposit (it is a non-type strain of the species). The effective reference for this organism lists IFO 12017 and ATCC 13125 (the type deposits for Pedobacter heparinus) as equivalent to the type strain.
