Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Phaeobacter was originally proposed and validly published by Martens et al. 2006. Yoon et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2007. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Breider et al. in 2014 and Wirth and Whitman in 2018.
