Nomenclatural History	The species Haloterrigena longa was originally described and validly published by Cui et al. 2006. In 2021, de la Haba et al. established Haloterrigena longa as the basonym of Natrinema longum (Cui et al. 2006) de la Haba et al. 2022 . de la Haba et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Natrinema ejinorense Castillo et al. 2006 in 2021.
