Nomenclatural History
The species Haematobacter massiliensis was originally described by Helsel et al. 2007. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 116 in 2007. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Helsel et al. formed this name in 2007 by placing the species Greub and Raoult 2006 into the genus Helsel et al. 2007 emend. Wang et al. 2014.
