Nomenclatural History
The species Novosphingobium resinovorum was originally described and validly published by Lim et al. 2007. Lim et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of (Nohynek et al. 1996) Takeuchi et al. 2001 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 in 2007. Lim et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Nohynek et al. 1996 in 2007. Lim et al. formed this name in 2007 by placing the species Delaporte and Daste 1956 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Takeuchi et al. 2001.
