Nomenclatural History	The species Altererythrobacter luteolus was originally described and validly published by Kwon et al. 2007. Kwon et al. formed this name in 2007 by placing the species Erythrobacter luteolus Yoon et al. 2005 into the genus Altererythrobacter Kwon et al. 2007 emend. Xu et al. 2020. In 2020, Xu et al. established Altererythrobacter luteolus as the basonym of Pontixanthobacter luteolus (Yoon et al. 2005) Xu et al. 2020 .
