Nomenclatural History	The species Kitasatosporia azatica was originally described and validly published by Zhang et al. 1997. Upon validation, this name was corrected from Kitasatosporia azatica (sic) to Kitasatospora azatica . Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Zhang et al. formed this name in 1997 by placing the species Streptomyces azaticus Nakagaito et al. 1993 into the genus Streptomyces Waksman and Henrici 1943 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Idris et al. 2017.
