Nomenclatural History
|
The species Kitasatosporia setalba was originally described by Ōmura et al. 1982. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 11 in 1983. Ōmura et al. corrected this name from Kitasatosporia setalba (sic) to Kitasatosporia setae . Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. In 1992, Wellington et al. established Kitasatosporia setalba as the basonym of
Streptomyces setae (Ōmura et al. 1983) Wellington et al. 1992
