Nomenclatural History
The species Salinimicrobium catena was originally described and validly published by Lim et al. 2008. Nedashkovskaya et al. published an emended description of this species in 2010. Lim et al. formed this name in 2008 by placing the species Ying et al. 2007 into the genus Lim et al. 2008 emend. Nedashkovskaya et al. 2010.
