Martínez-Murcia et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Huys et al. 2002 in 2009. Beaz-Hidalgo et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Huys et al. 2002) Beaz-Hidalgo et al. 2015 in 2013.
