Nomenclatural History
The species Lactobacillus bobalius was originally described and validly published by Mañes-Lázaro et al. 2008. Pang et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Cai et al. 1999 in 2012. In 2020, Zheng et al. established as the basonym of (Mañes-Lázaro et al. 2008) Zheng et al. 2020 .
