Nomenclatural History
The species Lactobacillus dextrinicus was originally described and validly published by Haakensen et al. 2009. Haakensen et al. formed this name in 2009 by placing the species (Coster and White 1964) Back 1978 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Beijerinck 1901 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Zheng et al. 2020. In 2020, Zheng et al. established as the basonym of (Coster and White 1964) Zheng et al. 2020 .
