Nomenclatural History
The species Persicivirga dokdonensis was originally described and validly published by Nedashkovskaya et al. 2009. Nedashkovskaya et al. formed this name in 2009 by placing the species Yoon et al. 2006 into the genus Lau et al. 2005 emend. Yi and Chun 2012. In 2012, Yi and Chun established as the basonym of (Yoon et al. 2006) Yi and Chun 2012 emend. García-López et al. 2019 .
