Nomenclatural History	The species Kitasatospora atroaurantiaca was originally described by Li et al. 2009. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 128 in 2009. Li et al. formed this name in 2009 by placing the species Streptomyces atroaurantiacus Nakagaito et al. 1993 into the genus Streptomyces Waksman and Henrici 1943 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Idris et al. 2017.
