Nomenclatural History
The species Advenella kashmirensis was originally described and validly published by Gibello et al. 2009. Shmareva et al. published an emended description of this species in 2016. Gibello et al. formed this name in 2009 by placing the species Ghosh et al. 2005 into the genus Coenye et al. 2005 emend. Gibello et al. 2009. In 2016, Shmareva et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Ghosh et al. 2005) Shmareva et al. 2017 .
