The species Nocardiopsis litoralis was originally described and validly published by Chen et al. 2009. Claverías et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Nocardiopsis kunsanensis Chun et al. 2000 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018
in 2022.
