Nomenclatural History	The species Brevundimonas bullata was originally described and validly published by Kang et al. 2009. Kang et al. formed this name in 2009 by placing the species Mycoplana bullata Gray and Thornton 1928 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Urakami et al. 1990 into the genus Brevundimonas Segers et al. 1994 emend. Abraham et al. 1999.
