Nomenclatural History
The species Idiomarina taiwanensis was originally described by Taborda et al. 2009. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 131 in 2010. Taborda et al. formed this name in 2009 by placing the species Jean et al. 2006 emend. Liu et al. 2018 into the genus Ivanova et al. 2000 emend. Taborda et al. 2009.
