Nomenclatural History	The species Jeotgalibacillus marinus was originally described and validly published by Yoon et al. 2010. Yoon et al. formed this name in 2010 by placing the species Marinibacillus marinus (Rüger and Richter 1979) Yoon et al. 2001 into the genus Jeotgalibacillus Yoon et al. 2001 emend. Yaakop et al. 2015.
