Nomenclatural History
|
The family Nevskiaceae was originally proposed by Henrici and Johnson 1935. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Naushad et al. published an emended description of this family in 2015. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Liu et al. in 2019. Naushad et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Solimonadaceae Losey et al. 2013
in 2015. Naushad et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Sinobacteraceae Zhou et al. 2008
in 2015.
