Nomenclatural History
The genus Celeribacter was originally proposed and validly published by Ivanova et al. 2010. Lee et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2012. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Hördt et al. in 2020. Lai et al. transferred the members of Wang et al. 2012 into this genus in 2014.
