Nomenclatural History
The species Chryseobacterium greenlandense was originally described by Loveland-Curtze et al. 2010. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 134 in 2010. Hahnke et al. published an emended description of this species in 2016. In 2019, García-López et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Loveland-Curtze et al. 2010) García-López et al. 2020 .
