Nomenclatural History

The species Bacillus siamensis was originally described and validly published by Sumpavapol et al. 2010. Dunlap published an emended description of this species in 2015. Dunlap established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Bacillus vanillea Chen et al. 2015
in 2015.
