Nomenclatural History
The species Achromobacter marplatensis was originally described and validly published by Gomila et al. 2011. Vandamme et al. published an emended description of this species in 2013. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Vandamme et al. in 2016. Vandamme et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Vandamme et al. 2013 in 2016.
