Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Actinoplanes ianthinogenes ianthinogenes was originally described and validly published by Tamura et al. 2011. In 2011, Tamura et al. reduced Actinoplanes ianthinogenes (ex Coronelli et al. 1974) Tamura et al. 2011 to the rank of subspecies. This name was formed by the revival of Actinoplanes ianthinogenes subsp. octamycini (sic), which was corrected to Actinoplanes ianthinogenes subsp. octamycinius.
