Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Flexivirga was originally proposed by Anzai et al. 2011. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 143 in 2012. Kang et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2016. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Hyeon et al. in 2017.
