Nomenclatural History
The species Nonlabens sediminis was originally described by Yi and Chun 2012. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 146 in 2012. García-López et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. Yi and Chun formed this name in 2012 by placing the species Khan et al. 2006 into the genus Lau et al. 2005 emend. Yi and Chun 2012. Seo et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Lau et al. 2005 emend. Seo et al. 2021 in 2021.
