The genus Lysinimicrobium was originally proposed and validly published by Hamada et al. 2012. Hamada et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2015. Nouioui et al. transferred the members of this genus into Yi et al. 2007 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2018.
