Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudoduganella violaceinigra was originally described by Kämpfer et al. 2012. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 147 in 2012. Kämpfer et al. formed this name in 2012 by placing the species Li et al. 2004 into the genus Kämpfer et al. 2012. In 2020, Lu et al. established as the basonym of (Li et al. 2004) Lu et al. 2020 .
