Nomenclatural History
The species Nonlabens marinus was originally described by Park et al. 2012. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 149 in 2013. Kwon et al. published an emended description of this species in 2014. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Hahnke et al. in 2016.
